Jung-Suk Lee is an expert in corporate law, personal data protection, information security, TMT, copyright, Artificial Intelligence (AI), e-commerce, and IT regulations. He provides comprehensive legal solutions, including extensive legal advisory and representation in civil and criminal litigation, to both domestic and international clients.
Upon completing his three-year service as a Judge Advocate following his graduation from the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Mr. Lee joined KIM & CHANG, Korea's largest law firm. During his tenure, he provided legal counsel in fields such as personal data protection, information security, TMT, e-commerce, IT regulations, AI, broadcasting and telecommunications, compliance management, and copyright, while also handling legal representation in numerous civil and criminal cases. Subsequently, he joined Mathpresso (QANDA), a leading Korean AI edtech startup, where he served as General Counsel. In this role, he provided legal advice on copyright, e-commerce, personal data protection, M&A, and HR, while addressing a wide range of legal issues unique to the startup environment. Mr. Lee earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree during his studies in the United States and obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) qualification. He currently serves as a legal advisor to the Ministry of Science and ICT.
