He then served as an Army Judge Advocate, holding positions such as Head of the Prosecution Department and Chief of the Legal Affairs Office. Subsequently, at Kim & Chang, he served on the Japan Team, advising on various fields including M&A, antitrust, personal information, and compliance. At NAVER, he advised on legal issues related to platform regulation, e-commerce, antitrust, and new business initiatives, while also heading the legal affairs for Japanese subsidiaries and services. At ABLY Corporation, as the Head of Legal, he oversaw the entire corporate legal and compliance system, managing legal risks across major contracts, investments, disputes, and regulatory responses. Simultaneously, as the General Manager of Japan Business, he spearheaded the launch and expansion of services tailored for the Japanese market.
